The Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre for the Hon'ble Delhi High Court was inaugurated at the Madurai Bench of the Hon'ble Madras High Court on March 2, 2024. Designed and implemented by VCARE Infotech Limited, the DR setup incorporates the latest technologies to ensure seamless data transfer and storage. This includes advanced UPS systems, air conditioning units, fire alarm systems, and drainage solutions for optimal protection.

The inauguration was attended by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Vijaykumar Gangapurwala, Chief Justice of the Hon'ble Madras High Court, and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajiv Shakdher, Judge of the Hon'ble Delhi High Court and Chairman of the IT & AI Committee, alongside esteemed members of the Information Technology & Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Hon'ble Delhi High Court.

Projects Overview

February 2023: Secured an order worth Rs. 11.33 crore to provide and install a Network Attached Storage (NAS) system with a 16TB usable capacity, as required by the Hon'ble Delhi High Court.

May 2023: Awarded an additional project valued at Rs. 0.80 crore to design, build, and manage a Disaster Recovery (DR) site at the Madurai Bench of the Hon'ble Madras High Court. The DR site was inaugurated on March 2, 2024, by the Hon'ble Chief Justice of Madras High Court, along with the Hon'ble Justice and Chairman of the IT and AI Committee of the Hon'ble Delhi High Court.

June 2023: Received another order worth Rs. 4.66 crore for the supply, installation, and management of 1,000 desktop computers and monitors.

Ongoing Engagement: Currently supplying and installing 644 scanners across seven district courts in Delhi, fulfilling multiple requirements for the Hon'ble Delhi High Court.

Future Plans: Expanding our approach to other Hon'ble High Courts in India to design, build, and implement Data Centers, along with the supply and management of IT infrastructure.

Key Features of the DR Centre:

Network Attached Storage (NAS): The NAS system serves as a high-end, secure storage solution that enables data access for multiple authorized users across the network via standard Ethernet. This ensures continuous data availability for collaboration among stakeholders, regardless of their location.

Advanced Storage Solutions: The Hon'ble High Court's storage capabilities include the All Flash AFF A400 with 200 TB usable capacity and the Storage Grid SG 100 with 1 PB usable capacity. These systems provide a rapid 12 Gbps read performance to support simultaneous data access.

Efficient Data Management: The implementation includes features such as tiering, archival, data versioning, and immutable data retention, allowing the Court to optimize its storage resources effectively.
